Chopper Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Beach
A helicopter hovering above a crowded southern California shoreline suddenly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately losing altitude and smashing into a cluster of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Recordings posted on the internet depict the aircraft beginning to twirl near the beach then falling towards the border of the shore, where it gets stuck amidst palms and a steps near the Pacific Coast highway.

Emergency responders said five individuals were rushed to the hospital including two who were in the helicopter and were “rescued from the debris” after the crash on Saturday.
Three individuals on the road were hurt. Details on their condition were not yet released.
What led to the incident was not yet disclosed.
